Expert tips from The Scout to inspire your GW4 squad

Each week in Aerial Fantasy, The Scout brings you insider insights on the best picks for the upcoming fixtures. Think of The Scout as your go-to guide for spotting the players most likely to deliver points, helping inspire your squad selection.

Here’s who The Scout is backing for Gameweek 4:

Goalkeeper + Defence

Kinga Szemik – Fit again and still eligible for visionary points, Szemik only needs three saves to unlock the extras. Against Chelsea in GW4, those saves should come quickly. It’s a favourable risk equation: three saves puts her on six points before factoring in any goals conceded.

Maya Le Tissier – A classic Le Tissier performance of clean sheet plus bonus looks well within reach against struggling Liverpool. United already have two clean sheets in three, while Liverpool have managed just one goal this season. This one feels straightforward.

Amanda Nildén – Spurs’ defence has stepped up this season and should back themselves against a Leicester side with only one goal to their name. Nildén stands out for her strength on bonus points: top bonus in both her 9-pointers in GWs 1 and 2, plus bonus twice in her last three WSL games against Leicester, collecting 11 and 7 points.

Alex Greenwood – At home to promoted London City, Greenwood has the fixture to turn her attacking involvement — especially from set pieces — into a solid score. With two attacking returns in three games this season already, there’s every chance she adds more in GW4.

Midfielders

Jess Park – Rapidly integrated into United’s lineup, Park is a secure, high-ceiling midfield pick with a favourable GW4 fixture against Liverpool. Owned by just 9%, she also offers the chance for some unique points.

Aoba Fujino – Visionary-eligible and with one of the best fixtures of the week at home to London City. Fujino has returned in her last two games, and few midfielders in GW4 have this combination of fixture and reward potential. Minutes might not be iron-clad, but the upside makes the risk worth it.

Chloe Kelly – Back to fitness just in time for a promising fixture at home to Aston Villa. Arsenal v Villa games are usually full of goals — 11 across the two meetings last season — and Kelly’s resurgence in Arsenal colours puts her in line to profit from the points on offer.

Rosa Kafaji – Everton haven’t kept a clean sheet all season, while Brighton arrive fresh off scoring four against West Ham. Kafaji got her first goal of the season in that match, playing 70 minutes and bagging 10 points. A good sign heading into another decent fixture.

Forwards

Agnes Beever-Jones (c) – Three games, three goals this season. Beever-Jones faces a West Ham side bottom of the table with 10 goals conceded already. She also has bonus in each of her last three WSL meetings with the Hammers. A safe and strong captaincy pick.

Khadija Shaw – Yes, the missed penalty last week was brutal, but London City at home is far too good a fixture to ignore. Put the miss behind you and back Shaw again — she’s still a captaincy contender this week.

Melvine Malard – A near-guaranteed starter for United across competitions, Malard has made a flying start with six attacking returns in seven games. Liverpool away is another promising fixture, and her ceiling is high — as shown by two 13-pointers to open the WSL season. At the very least, she’s worth serious consideration.
